Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using RallyMate (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use RallyMate. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

Acceptable Use and User Responsibilities

As a user of RallyMate, you agree to use the App responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You are solely responsible for all content you post, share, or transmit through the App.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

RallyMate maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not post, share, or engage in:

  • Harassment or bullying of other users, including threats, intimidation, or personal attacks
  • Hate speech or discriminatory content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Sexually explicit or inappropriate content, including nudity, pornography, or sexual solicitation
  • Violence or graphic content, including threats of violence, gore, or promotion of self-harm
  • Illegal activity, including the sale of illegal goods, promotion of illegal services, or sharing instructions for illegal acts
  • Spam, scams, or fraudulent activity, including phishing, pyramid schemes, or deceptive business practices
  • Impersonation of other users, public figures, or RallyMate staff
  • Intellectual property violations, including unauthorized use of copyrighted material, trademarks, or proprietary information
  • Malicious software or code designed to harm users, devices, or the App

Content Moderation and Platform Safety

Our Right to Remove Content and Ban Users

RallyMate reserves the right to remove any content and terminate or suspend any user account at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines
  • Users who engage in abusive, harmful, or illegal behavior
  • Content reported by other users as inappropriate or harmful
  • Accounts created to evade prior bans or suspensions

Reporting and Blocking System

RallyMate provides in-app tools to report inappropriate content and block abusive users. You can:

  • Report content or users that violate these Terms by using the in-app reporting feature
  • Block users to prevent them from contacting you or viewing your profile
  • Receive notifications about the status of your reports when action is taken

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We take violations seriously and will take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent bans.

Consequences of Violations

Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, consequences may include:

  • Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a formal warning
  • Content Removal: Violating content will be removed from the platform
  • Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations may result in temporary account suspension
  • Permanent Ban: Severe violations (harassment, threats, illegal activity, hate speech) will result in immediate and permanent account termination
  • Legal Action: In cases involving illegal activity or credible threats, we may report information to law enforcement

User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post, but grant RallyMate a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the App.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to post your content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

Privacy and Data

Your use of RallyMate is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Payments and Subscriptions

Some features of RallyMate may require payment or subscription. By purchasing a subscription:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy
  • Pricing and features are subject to change with notice

Intellectual Property

RallyMate, including its logo, design, features, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our written permission.

Third-Party Services

RallyMate may integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors, mapping services). We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their own terms and policies.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

RallyMate is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RallyMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or personal injury.

RallyMate is not responsible for the actions, conduct, or content of users. You use the App at your own risk. We encourage you to exercise caution when meeting users in person and to report any inappropriate behavior.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RallyMate, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by using our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, abusive behavior, or at our discretion.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with Australian law, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
